Ukraine 10 hryvnia 1992
A rare early 10 hryvnia banknote of the first Ukrainian design, issued by the National Bank of Ukraine in 1992 (put into circulation in 1996). Signed by Governor Vadym Hetman.
On the obverse — a portrait of Hetman Ivan Mazepa in the center, decorated with rich Baroque ornamentation.
On the reverse — the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra (Assumption Cathedral and bell tower) against the backdrop of the Dnipro River. Multicolored printing with predominance of brown, violet, and green tones. The design emphasizes the historical heritage of Ukraine during the Hetmanate period and one of the main symbols of Orthodox culture — the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.

Condition: AU-UNC — the banknote is almost in perfect new condition, with barely noticeable traces of a light fold along one edge. The overall appearance is very attractive, colors are bright, and relief is sharp.
The banknote will be an excellent addition to a collection of Ukrainian notaphily, the first hryvnia issues of 1992–1996, and variants with Hetman’s signature.
